Stabilization of Black cotton soil using Fly ash

چکیده
Expansive Black cotton clay soils are widely distributed worldwide, and a significant damage to infrastructure buildigs. It is common practice around the world stabilize black soil using fly ash improve strength of stabilized sub- base sub grade soil. Soil stabilization improvement or bearing capacity by controlled compaction, proportioning addition suitable admixtures stabilizers. The extremely hard when dry, but lose its fully in wet condition. In monsoon they guzzle water swell summer shrink on evaporation from there. Because high Swelling shrinkage characteristics has been challenge highway engineers. So this research paper used various properties natural soil. The objective engineering adding different percentage weight make it for construction. A series standard Proctor tests (for calculation MDD OMC) California Bearing Ratio (C.B.R) conducted both raw mixed with percentages (5%, 10%, 20%, 30%) weight. comparison between soil, performed .It found that suitably enhanced.

As we know the road development is one of the major parts of growing infrastructure & Pune, which is expanding at a very fast rate, the construction of roads is of major concern. Fly Ash is one of the abundant forms of Solid Waste produced at thermal power plants. Its disposal is a big problem keeping both these concerns in mind it was tried to come out with a project which will integrate Road ...
متن کاملEffect of class F fly ash on fine sand compaction through soil stabilization
This paper presents the results of an experimental investigation carried out to evaluate the effect of fly ash (FA) on fine sand compaction and its suitability as a material for embankments. The literature review demonstrates the lack of research on stabilization of sandy material using FA. The study is concerned with the role of FA content in stabilized soil physical characteristics. The main ...

Soil stabilization has become a major issue in construction engineering and the researches regarding the effectiveness of using industrial wastes are rapidly increasing. The present experimental work briefly describes the suitability of the locally available Rice Husk Ash (RHA) to be used in the local construction industry in a way to minimize the amount of waste to be disposed to the environme...
